The Tallest Ferris Wheel in the World

The British Airways London Eye is the unmistakable landmark in London. It is visible from almost anywhere within central London. I passed by it many times when I was there in June 2009, but surprisingly I didn't go on board for a flight (as the sponsor British Airways calls it).

By night, the Ferris wheel will turn into a brightly lit 'bicycle wheel'. The multi-coloured County Hall serves as a very good background though.
