It just dawned on me: those sumo wrestlers wore the original thongs!
I only see them in TV...hehehe :)
I remembered watching a channel in cable (forgot what it was) and they interviewed the famous sumo wrestler of all time. Turns out his not a Japanese but a Korean :)
Funny, someone was just talking about sumo wrestlers. I've never seen so many in one place.
We finally get to the closing ceremonies.
Some of them look so banged up with all those bandages. Must've been a tough tournament.
I don't think I have seen their costumes before.
Thanks fro dropping by, all WW participants. This is in fact the opening ceremony for the higher rank sumo wrestling.
You have to love sumo wrestling.

Those aprons are quite elaborate. I had no idea they had a outfit other than the thong they wear during the match.
Errr...not a fan of sumo.
