One of the nights in Kaohsiung City, we were too full with food from the buffet served at the 85-storey building. So, my sister and I decided to take a night stroll through the streets of Kaohsiung. Since we stayed at a hotel near to the main train station, we were quite near to the lively part of the city.
Not that many shops were open as it was already quite late at night. Some shops were at the verge of rolling down their roller-shutter doors when we walked pass.
In an occasion, we met with a couple who brought their pet along with them while going shopping. I guess it is a very common thing for the Taiwanese to bring along their pets wherever they go.
Although not that many shops were still doing business late at night, there were still some shops which are open twenty-four hours. For the late night shoppers, that's good news. It's one of the ways to burn away the calories from dinner of supper.
When we walked pass a river and came to a street full of tuition centres, we knew that there was nothing to explore further. So, we headed back to the hotel and called it a day in Kaohsiung.
