Serikin is a small town near the border of Malaysia and Indonesia in Borneo Island. It is located at about 80 km southwest of Kuching city. It all started as a weekend market when vendors from across the border brought their local produce to sell to Kuching people. It has now expanded to become a tourist attraction where local people and foreigners alike looking for cheap deals on clothing, snacks, vegetables and local produce.
