The Motomachi Shopping Street at the foot of Yamate Hill was built for the Europeans who settled down here when the Yokohama port was first opened to foreign trade. It still retains some European touch to the visitors and has been a hot spot for branded goods in Yokohama.
Walking along the main street makes one feel like walking in a posh cobble stone-paved shopping street in Europe.
The European brands are abundant here. One can find almost all the top European branded fashion outlets here.
That includes one of the favourite brands of my good friend.
If I haven't told you that this is in Japan, you may have mistaken that I took these photos in some part of Europe.
