Portraits of My Nephew and Niece

My nephew and niece will normally hang out at my house during day time. When they have run out of games to play, they will normally come to my room to disturb on whatever I am doing. In order to calm them down, I had to play photography with them during last weekend. So, I ended up with these shots.

Camera equipment: Nikon D300 + Nikkor 85mm f/1.4D
Lighting: Natural side-window light

Haha, this is a great way to make them settle down. I love the portraits, you could actually see the mischievousness in their eyes :)

Well I hope it worked and they settled down, but even if they didn't you got some great pictures!

Outstanding portrait photography. (And you get extra credit because they are children -- always more difficult to photograph than adults!)

Adorable kids!

Any chance you will be taking more macro shots of insects and the like soon? Those are always my favorite. You are a very talented photographer.
