Bewley's Oriental Café on Grafton Street was opened in 1927. It is self-explanatory that it belongs to the Bewley's Coffee & Tea Company. This café has become one of the landmarks in Dublin and it is the largest and longest established café here.
One of the reasons why there are over a million customers patronising Bewley's Oriental Café is to look at the renowned stained glass windows crafted by the Irish stained glass artist Harry Clarke. These stained glass windows are truly work of art.
As for the food, we had the beef burger, fish & chips and seafood spaghetti. All the dishes were quite nice and we wiped all the plates clean at the end of this lunch session. It was really a nice experience dining in this café for the natural light falling from the rooftop adds to the natural ambiance.
To cap it off, the beverages that we had were non-other than the specialty of the company, i.e., coffees.
