Last night, or technically till early this morning, I went to a village near a dockyard at Sejingkat to have our first attempt at shooting star trails. I first shot with multiple exposure and the result was skewed towards over-exposure.
Therefore, I changed the shooting to time-lapse mode, that is, shooting a series of photos at a fixed interval. These photos were then superimposed using the Startrails software. The results are much better.
Shooting star trails needs a lot of time and patience. It took us almost four hours for this shooting session!
